I've been a big fan of the show for years and honestly I feel like the newest season was a let down. The episodes just seemed to pivot too much from the original formula.
Just started watching this show and I absolutely love it. You can definitely see where GOT got its inspiration from. I think the show was just too ahead of it's time as it was originally meant to have 5 seasons but unfortunately got cancelled in its second season due to budget (they did wrap it up with an ending though).
